Seaside x Cannon Beach

This was my first solo trip — a few nights in Seaside, staying in a camper I'd built into my 2013 Tacoma. I had no idea the aurora borealis was going to light up the sky that night; I just happened to be there for it. I spent the days walking the town, photographing everything — the streets, the people, the coastline.

This trip is really where I figured out the kind of aesthetic I wanted to keep chasing in my photography. One night I went out after dark, made a stop at a couple of the local bars, then ended up down on the coastline with my camera shooting the night sky, and fell asleep on the sand for a few hours — woke up not entirely sure where I was.
