Photography

Real photos of real people.

Every session is shot by me — no studio, no team. Here's what things typically run; if you don't see exactly what you need, reach out and I'll put together a quote.

For Businesses

One visit a month. Enough photos to post all month.

Most small businesses stop posting because they run out of photos, not because they run out of ideas. I come to you once a month, shoot for about two hours, and you get around thirty edited photos — enough to post all month without running the same picture twice.

Before You Ask

Common questions

How much do you charge?+

It really depends on the project — if you're not sure where yours lands, just reach out and ask. As a starting point: senior portraits and professional sessions start at $300 for a 2-hour shoot with a couple of outfit changes. For events, a half day runs $600 and a full day is $1,200.

How does it work once I reach out?+

I'll get back to you quickly and ask a few questions about what you're looking for, so we can figure out if we're a good fit. From there we'll work out a location, date, and time.

How far ahead should I reach out to book?+

For larger events, the more notice you can give me, the better. For individual sessions — senior portraits, band photos, small get-togethers — a week or two is usually enough.

Do you travel? What areas do you cover?+

Yes. I'm based in Vancouver/Portland and typically travel within about a 3-hour radius. Anything farther, we can talk through — travel gets worked into the quote.

How long until I get my photos back?+

For a one-on-one session, expect your photos within 1–2 weeks. For larger events where I'm shooting hundreds of photos, please allow 2–3 weeks.

What do I actually get — digital files, prints, or both?+

You'll get a Dropbox link with your edited digital files. I don't hand over raw files unless it's specifically requested. For a typical 1–2 hour session with a couple of outfit changes, I'll shoot around 200–300 raw images and deliver about 25–35 fully edited photos.

Do you require a deposit?+

Yes — I require a deposit equal to 50% of the agreed-upon price to hold your date. The remaining balance is due at the end of the shoot, and I accept cash, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Zelle.

Can I use the photos for my business and social media?+

Once your photos are delivered, they're yours to use — personal or business. The one thing I ask in return is the right to use a few of them in my own portfolio and marketing.
